The Gainesville District Preschool, home to our district's littlest learners, is located in a self-contained facility, just east of the Jr. High School. Our preschool program is a free, full 4 day program offered for children who qualify. A screening is required to determine eligibility. Each class has up to 20 students with 2 certified teachers and 2 instructional assistants. Screenings for the program open in the spring of each year for children ages 4 (on or before July 31). All children must be screened and qualify to attend.
