I taught at Gainesville High School from 2013-2018 and am so happy to be back for the 2021-2022 school year! My teaching career began at FairView R-XI in West Plains after receiving my Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education degree from Missouri State University in 1992. I later earned my Master of Middle School Education degree from Evangel University in 2001. Currently, I teach sophomore level English II, junior level American Literature, and Speech & Debate . I have been married to Dennis Weatherford for 37 years, and we have two grown daughters, a son-in-law, three granddaughters, and two grown foster children.
