Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Miranda S. Donley
I am currently the school counselor here at Gainesville Jr. High and High School. This is my first year as a school counselor, and I am excited for the opportunity to help our Gainesville students succeed. Even though this is my first year as a counselor, I have been a teacher for over 14 years.
After graduating from Lutie High School in 1995, I attended college at Missouri State University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English, secondary education. After teaching for a few years, I earned a master’s degree in gifted education from Mizzou. Most recently I completed a master's degree in school counseling through Lindenwood University. My certifications include 9-12 English, K-12 gifted, and 1-6 elementary, and now K-12 school counseling.
My husband and I have three children, and we all live on a farm in Thornfield. Our oldest daughter, Peyton, graduated from GHS in 2019 and attends college at MSU-West Plains. Our other two children are still students here at Gainesville. Hallee is a sophomore and Owen is a sixth grader. We are all proud to be Bulldogs!
