Mrs. Kara Wigger
Mrs. Wigger is a Resource Teacher at Gainesville Elementary School. Following her graduation from Pittsburg State University in 1998 with her Elementary Education degree she started her career in elementary music. In the years that followed, she taught Title I math and reading services, remediated reading, first, second, and third grade. In 2008, Mrs. Wigger earned her Master Degree in Adaptive Special Education from Emporia State University, and taught in the Resource room until 2018, when she had the opportunity to teach first grade at Sigsbee Charter School in Key West, Florida. After one year in that glorious location, Mrs. Wigger learned of a position opening here in beautiful Gainesville. She and Mr. Wigger, who is a Science teacher in the district, excitedly jumped at the chance to relocate in Bull Shoals, which is much closer to thier three daughters, two son in laws, and expected grandbaby (Come on, January!). They both enjoy fishing, traveling, cooking, and buying sparkly pink tutu's for said expected grandbaby. Mrs. Wigger is also trying her greenhand in the greenhouse which came with thier home. Thus far, no plants have been lost. Thank you for welcoming Mrs. Wigger to your school and community.
