Hello! My name is Melanie Johns and I am the English Language Arts teacher for the Junior High. I graduated in December of 2012 from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri with a bachelors of science degree. This is my 9th year teaching at Gainesville but my 3rd year in the Junior High. 

I enjoy spending time outside with my daughter, Hallee and our puppy, Nala. We spend a lot of time at sporting events, any kind of water activity, and in the woods hunting. 

I grew up in a small, rural community in Mid-Missouri much like Gainesville so I have enjoyed my transition to southern Missouri. I look forward to another great year at Gainesville R-V Schools. Go Bulldogs!
